Already this year, wildfires have burned extensive areas of Australia’s North, Red Centre and elsewhere.
Now an El Nino climate cycle is officially upon us, a hot dry summer seems inevitable with higher risk of more bushfires.
But Australia has always burned. Often purposefully. What difference does that make? And might we capitalise on that knowledge?
